- DignityClean.ie is the trading name of Dignity Concierge Limited an Irish Registered Company bearing CRO Number 757116 having its registered address at 39/40 mount Street Upper Dublin 2. “the Company” or “We” and its email address is info@dignityclean.ie
- Dignity Cleaning is an Irish owned, Irish operated company who are offering cleaning and related services “the Cleaning Services”
- The Service user is the Customer who is ordering the services “You” “the Customer”. #
- The enclosed Terms & Conditions together form the Conditions precedent to any cleaning contract “the Contract” once a quote has been offered by the Company and accepted by the Customer and shall apply even if no express written agreement has been entered into as the indicative terms on which the parties are performing the mutual obligations.
- Pricing
5.1 The Pricing displayed on our website are invitations to treat and indicative pricing and are not binding offers which have been estimated based on previous experience.
5.2 For more complex cleaning we reserve the right to amend, or pricing and this reservation is at our absolute discretion.
5.3 Please be advised that Cleaners will not have authority to negotiate pricing which must be done through our official company channels by email. Any discussions around pricing shall not be binding unless and until confirmed in writing.
5.4 It shall be a condition that once a quote is received that each clean must be paid in advance before our cleaners will attend the property. If you account is in arrears we reserve the right to withdraw cleaning services until the account is brought up to date.
5.5 We may arrange monthly standing orders.
5.6 A minimum charge of three hours will apply.
5.7 If the location does not have parking, then any additional parking charges may be added to your invoice.
5.8 The cleaner will be required to be attended on the property for the first clean to ensure that the customer gives sufficient directions and can show the cleaner around the property.
5.9 We may impose a 4% credit card surcharge.
5.10 We reserve the right to charge the debit or credit card on account for any outstanding fees.
5.11 We reserve the right to charge interest on any late payments over 7 days.
- Customer Obligations
6.1 To ensure that access is facilitated and that there is sufficient hot water and electricity to the premises.
6.2 That there are no pets present that are not in crates for the entire cleaning service for the safety of our cleaners and the pets. If a pet is allowed to roam freely or released we reserve the right to cancel the service and the full fee shall be due and owing.
- Prohibition on solicitation of our cleaners.
7.1 Should you attempt to solicit or directly employ any of our cleaners we reserve the right to charge a Solicitation fee of €2,500 plus VAT plus any lost earnings from that cleaner that may be reasonably be attributable to that solicitation. (Lost earnings from that cleaner until they are replaced)
- What is included in the Cleaning Services
8.1 We will cover the costs of cleaning materials, transport to and from the cleaning location.
- What is not included in the Basic Cleaning Services
9.1.1 Physical washing of dishes/ pots/ pans. We will load a dishwasher and take them back out but cannot be asked to removed baked in or burnt materials by hand.
9.1.2 Child minding services
9.1.3 Dog minding or walking services
9.1.4 Shopping or errands.
9.1.5 Exterior of Windows
9.1.6 High areas (over the height of one chair for insurance reasons)
9.1.7 Cleaning of bodily fluids, toys, pet waste, or bio- hazards.
9.1.8 Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery Cleaning which requires specialist equipment and additional charges.
9.1.9 Mattress cleaning which requires specialist cleaning.
9.1.10 Dry cleaning services
- Complaints
10.1 All complains will be required to be made within 24 hours from the service date. Failure to complain within 24 hours shall be at the discretion of the Company to reject.
10.2 Dissatisfaction with any cleaning will require a written complaint based on an inventory check filed more than 24 hours after the cleaning services have been performed.
10.3 In case of negligence of one of our cleaners resulting in damage, we will repair the item at cost. If the item cannot be repaired, it shall be replaced at value.
10.4 We may offer, at our discretion to reclean an area and that cleaning will be supervised by another member of staff and the Customer will be required to present at such Cleaning Services to ensure satisfaction.
- Respect for cleaners
11.1 Abuse of our cleaners will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Abuse includes but is not limited to
11.1.1 Shadowing our cleaners pointing out defects real or imagined.
11.1.2 Negative comments directed at our cleaners.
11.1.3 Racial abuse or shouting.
11.1.4 Offensive or crude comments or jokes.
11.1.5 Criticism or personal criticism of our cleaners.
11.1.6 Solicitation of our cleaners.
11.1.7 Any sexual innuendo or comments.
- Insurance
12.1 The Company maintains public and employers liability insurance.
12.2 There is a €350 excess on any claim to be paid by the customer.
- Liability
13.1 We are not liable for any tasks not stated on our task list/quote
13.2 Cleaning jobs that cannot be completed due to lack of suitable detergents / and or equipment not in working order, hot water or power.
13.3 Interference with the cleaning service such as third parties
13.4 Wear of discolouring of fabric
13.5 Failing to remove historical staining, spillage, damage.
13.6 Defects caused by Customer property.
13.7 We are not responsible for lost keys or any property that is held by us on trust.
- Cancellation
14.1 Any booked cleans that are cancelled with more than 72 hours notice will be fully refunded.
14.2 Any booked cleans that are cancelled with more than 24 hours notice will be partially refunded at 50%
14.3 Any booked cleans that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
14.4 If access is not granted to the property or is frustrated it shall be deemed to be a cancellation.
- Jurisdiction
15.1 Irish Law shall apply to any disputes and the Courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of same.
- Privacy policy
16.1 DignityClean.ie is the trading name of Dignity Concierge Limited an Irish Registered Company bearing CRO Number 757116. having its registered address at 39/40 Mount Street Upper Dublin 2 operating a cleaning service.
16.2 DignityClean.ie will process your data in accordance with the Irish data protection acts as amended and the general data protection regulation.
16.3 By uploading your details and documents to the site you are consenting to the processing of your data on servers by DignityClean.ie its sub-contractors or employees or employees, or any other persons that you consent to access the data during the currency of your services.
16.4 Your data will be held on servers that are located in the European Union.
16.5 By using the service you are consenting to and accepting the practices set out in this privacy policy and the above privacy policy
What data we collect- We collect data through online forms and data that you upload onto the platform.
Your data will be held on our servers and stored securely.
The data will be processed as is required for the function of the service which is to facilitate the Cleaning Services.
We will seek to hold your data securely and confidentially and will not otherwise disclose, sell or transfer your data unless compelled by law.
We cannot and do not guarantee that your personal information will be protected against unauthorised access or misuse or abuse. We do not accept any liability for the improper actions of unauthorised third parties.
Deletion of dataYou may request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting the privacy controller at info@dignityclean.ie
At the conclusion of your matter your data will be securely destroyed.
- Use of cookies
17.1 The website may collect information through the use of “cookies”. Cookies are anonymous, unique alphanumeric identifiers sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. The information we collect via cookies does not personally identify you, although it does identify your browser. We use this information to provide you with customised information when you visit the site, and to collect aggregated user data for the purposes of usage analysis, quality control and administering and improving the site. Aggregated data (which cannot be used to identify you) may be shared with third parties.
